Scheduled passenger service is provided by Great Lakes Aviation and Big Sky Airlines. Great Lakes Aviation offers daily, nonstop flights to Denver and Big Sky Airlines offers daily, except for Saturday, nonstop flights to Bismarck, ND. Although the airport doesn't have any commercial international flights, it has the international moniker because it has a U.S. customs service to handle private flights from Canada.

More Details: Minot International Airport is a small and modern airport serving north central North Dakota. It is located in the city of Minot, the state's fourth largest city and the trading center for a large portion of northern North Dakota, southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba. Scheduled passenger service is provided by Northwest Airlines offering three daily, nonstop flights to and from the airline's hub in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The airport's terminal has two gates - Gate 1 is used by Northwest and Gate 2 is used by the occassional charter flight. On the airport grounds, you will find the Dakota Territory Air Museum with several vintage planes and historic aviation photographs on display.

The airport is served Northwest Airlines and Mesaba Airlines, a Northwest Airlink affiliate, offering daily, nonstop flights to Northwest's hub in Minneapolis/St. Paul from which passengers can connects to hundreds of destinations worldwide. It is located approximately six miles from downtown Grand Forks in the Northern Red River Valley region of eastern North Dakota. The airport was opened in 1987 making it a relatively new and modern facility.
