Aloha Stadium
URL:
More Details: This, the largest outdoor stadium in Hawai'i, is the site of all major football and baseball events including the Aloha Bowl and the Pro Bowl. The world's largest superstars, from Michael Jackson to Prince, perform here when they come to town. In addition, the enormous Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is held here three times weekly. The stadium can hold more than 30,000 people. It features a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar sound system and a 19x26 foot Sony Jumbotron television

Arizona Memorial
URL: http://www.arizonamemorial.org/memorial.html
More Details: On December 7, 1941, the battleship USS Arizona was sunk, taking 1,100 sailors with it. In 1961, a solemn white monument was erected above the midsection of the ship. The deck of the Arizona lies now six feet below the surface of Pearl Harbor and is clearly visible from the monument. Take the shuttle launch from shore to the monument and view the dark shape of a once-great ship with its silent crew. Free guided tours are offered 8am-3pm daily. Visit the Battleship Missouri Memorial afterward

Honolulu International Airport
URL: http://www.ifly.com/ifly/honolulu-international-airport
More Details: Honolulu International Airport is where many dream vacations begin as the major aviation center for the Hawaiian Islands. The airport is located on the island of Oahu around four miles west of downtown Honolulu and nine miles from the legendary Waikiki Beach. The airport is served by over 20 major domestic and international airlines and is a hub for Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. All overseas flights arrive in the Main Overseas Terminal and connecting flights to other islands depart from the Interisland Terminal or the Commuter Terminal. The Wiki-Wiki Express is a free shuttle that connects the terminal buildings. Or, if you wish to stretch your legs after the long flight to the islands, the Interisland Terminal is a 10-15 minute walk from the Main Overseas Terminal. Add on an extra 5-10 minutes to walk to the Commuter Terminal.

Battleship Missouri Memorial
URL: http://www.ussmissouri.com/
More Details: Stand on the deck of this imposing old structure that has been painstakingly cared for and extensively renovated. The Mighty Mo is where General Douglas MacArthur proclaimed the end of World War II in September of 1945 in Tokyo Bay. The great vintage battleship now sits at permanent anchor across from the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. Admission: USD16 Adults, USD7 Children ages 4-12. Adult admission for guided tours starts at USD22. Visit the Arizona Memorial first to get a sense of the complete story.

Activity Mart
URL:
More Details: If you don't know that this is the place with the pig, you're probably not up to speed on Maui trivia. To clarify, this activity office is the home of Aloha, a charming Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. She spends most of her time sniffing around and napping, but she can do tricks upon her master's command. While this is definitely a gimmick, it's a great one. It gets hordes of people in the door. Once in, they are fair prey for the smooth talking, ever-encouraging staff that peddle bargain-basement fly-drive tours, snorkel cruises and luaus. All gimmicks aside, a lot of the bargains are for real.

Challenge at Manele
URL:
More Details: This course was ranked among the top 50 by Conde Nast Traveler. It has won numerous other awards in its brief history. Built by Jack Nicklaus and with Doug Stephenson as the resident golf pro, this place is a championship course in every sense of the word. The signature hole (#12) requires players to hit the ball from one side of a cliff to the other, over 200 yards of ocean. The facility has a pro shop, a clubhouse and a restaurant. Call for greens fees and reservations

Kapalua Golf Club
URL: http://www.kapaluamaui.com/
More Details: The three courses of the Kapalua Golf Resort are a favorite of golfers from every part of the world. The Kapalua Village Course plays through the majestic trees and tricky landscape of the West Maui foothills. The Kapalua Bay course was designed by golf great Arnold Palmer. The third, Kapalua Plantation, is characterized by its length. The greens fees for non-hotel guests range from $200-225 per person. Guests of the Kapalua hotels can book up to 30 days in advance; non-hotel guests can book only four days in advance

Kaumalapau Harbor
URL:
More Details: Although it's often included in listings of Lana'i beaches, this place is primarily used for commercial shipping. Because of the shipping traffic, motorized water activities are not permitted, and only a few people choose to swim in the harbor. However, this is a popular place for fishermen, both local and tourist. Unlike chartered sport fishing, shore fishing on the harbor offers an opportunity to relax, let the mind wander, and enjoy the view.

Spa at Manele
URL:
More Details: This place is a fitness center, massage center, full-service salon, skincare retreat and health spa all rolled into one. The menu extensive menue features everything from the Ti Leaf Body Wrap ($100 for 50 minutes) to special weaves for hair. Particularly tempting are the outdoor massages, which take place either in the Garden Tea House or the Ocean View Cabana. Anyone staying at the hotel can use the fitness equipment, spa, pool and steam room at no charge. Advance reservations for spa treatments are highly recommended.

Hulopo`e Beach Park and Marine Preserve
URL:
More Details: Although it's one of the most popular destinations on Lana'i, this beach manages to retain its pristine appearance. It's a protected area, a designated marine preserve and a place of much natural beauty and underwater activity. Guests of nearby Manele Bay Hotel can enjoy beachwalks or picnics. This is also one of the few beaches on the island that can be reached by a two-wheel drive vehicle. Trilogy Charters and other sailing charter companies lead excursions to the beach on a regular basis. The marine preserve is also a favorite scuba dive destination.
