A popular oyster farming and vacation center, Long Beach is at the southern end of Long Beach Peninsula, known for 28 miles of hard sand beach. Area sports include surf fishing, swimming, boating and deep-sea fishing. Among the peninsula's scenic viewpoints are Cape Disappointment and North Head lighthouses , North Jetty and Beard's Hollow. About 230 ships have been wrecked near Cape Disappointment.
A 12-foot-wide elevated boardwalk extends along 2,300 feet of beachfront. It has three observation platforms with telescopes and interpretive displays of natural history. The main access point is at the foot of Bolstad Street, off SR 103.
Rockaway Beach has "one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world," as well as a very n ice small town atmosphere with many nice restaurants, unique gift shops, and antique merchants. Other activities include whale-watching, kite flying, bonfires, fishing, crabbing, boating, and horseback riding.
Attractions consist of the World's Longest Beach (at 28 miles), 2 golf courses, the Willapa Bay Interpretive Center, Leadbetter Point State Park, the Lewis & Clark Lighthouse, Fort Canby and Columbia, Oysterville, the North Head Lighthouse, charter fishing, four state parks and a wildlife refuge for hiking, 28 miles of beach for beachcombing, kayaking, oyster-picking, antiquers haven, biking and famous for three world kite competitions.

Ocean Park is on the Long Beach Peninsula of Washington. It is a 28 mile spit of land two miles wide between the Pacific Ocean and the pristine Willapa Bay.
