More Details: This beautiful, park-like cemetery has been called the Westminster Abbey of Arkansas because of the number of notable Arkansans buried here. From state governors, to Confederate Generals, to newspaper editors, this cemetery is like a who's who of Arkansas history. The grave of David O. Besides the historical draw, the beauty of the cemetary's flowers, honeysuckle vines and shade-tree lined paths adds to the enjoyment of this lovely outin

Lakewood Park

More Details: This spacious, green park is just across the street from the historic Old Mill. Play frisbee or volleyball, have a picnic or throw bread to the ducks in the pond. Note the unusual sculptures scattered throughout the park, which include a hollow tree-trunk shelter and a flower-basket planter. The sculptures were created around 1933 by Mexican artist Dionicio Rodriquez, who also created the wooden bridge at Old Mill, which is just across the street.

More Details: This traditional gallery is filled with beautiful artwork created by lesser-known artists from across the country and even around the world. Each piece is framed in an exquisite wooden or metal frame worthy of exhibition on its own. This gallery also offers framing services to the public. The rates are reasonable, and the selection of frames and matting are exceptional.
